Lemmy is Blog! Massive Wagons “House of Noise” Album Review 2020

www.MassiveWagons.com Mid July 2020 England’s Massive Wagons put out their much anticipated album, House of Noise.  This album is a follow up to their next level album Full Nelson where they were opening for bands like the Wildhearts.   I instantly became a Massive Wagons fan when I heard the Full Nelson album earlier this summer …

Lemmy is Blog! – Body Count “Carnivore” 2020 Review

“Lemmy is Blog!” has finally revealed its furry fucked up head and Body Count is set to seek & destroy with “Carnivore”.  “Carnivore” was chosen first to review since BC covers Ace of Spades on this record but also the album dropped right when Covid-19 started to lockdown New York. (Update: today is July 4th …

Squeeze & Carly Bio: Mickey Squeeze guitarist for the band Midnight Mob & Carly Quinn bassist extraordinaire for Midnight Mob have been bandmates for many years. They toured the country, played venues flooded with shit water, played venues for thousands, their music is heard all over TV, sat down with majors but came up just short, totaled the tour van but kept on.  The adventure began in the back of a garage with naive gullible never say die passion that continues to this day.  In 2020 Squeeze & Carly are working the power trio, Misfit Saints, and other soon to be released musical endeavors.  In addition to Misfit Saints, Squeeze is a curator for ReverbNation listening to music submitted for various opportunities.

"In 2016 we were riding lots of momentum & 2017 was supposed to be the year, but singer, Blackey, had to tap out in 2017 until further notice due to health problems. When you hit a wall you either get around, go over, go under or go through it. Carly and I decided to put together this podcast to talk about bands we're discovering through Spotify & ReverbNation, band tips for new bands, interview musicians/industry & review albums. When we were touring we were playing with so many great bands that the masses didn't know existed & we wanted to put together a fun platform to disseminate unknown or maybe some forgotten music. We're hoping to add some spice to your playlists. You can also find me randomly co hosting the iHeart Radio Appetite for Distortion with Brando Podcast.  I brought in the 2018 New Year interviewing Slash's son, London Hudson, and bandmate, Nico Tsangaris, about their band Classless Act."    - Mickey Squeeze

Midnight Mob Bio:  The NYC/Long Island based powerhouse rockers in Midnight Mob have staked their claim in their melting pot of rock n roll.  Raspy-voiced chanteuse Blackey Deathproof, guitarist Mickey Squeeze and bassist Carly Quinn flawlessly blend classic rock influences with modern day inspirations to create something beautifully restless.

The band has evolved tremendously since forming in 2009, but the focus has never shifted: Midnight Mob is destined to bridge the gap between genres and create something without fear of limitation. As Mickey says, “We play what we dig and people seem to dig what we play. We get the punk crowd, the metal crowd, the classic rock crowd - even people who aren’t really into hard rock relate to us on some level.” Having already impressed the likes of Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan with their live performance at the CBGB Music Festival opening for Janes Addiction in Times Square, Midnight Mob is set to turn heads one stage at a time.

To date, the Mob has released three EPs - 2016's Honest Brutal Glorious, 2013’s Black Moon Rising, 2011’s self-titled debut - in addition to 2014’s full-length UK album release These Days. The band’s uniquely vivacious sound has garnered a wide variety of placements including WWE Smackdown, MLB, PGA, Food Network, CW, Shamless, Suicide Squad and many others as well as a legion of incredibly loyal fans.

The 2016 EP, Honest Brutal Glorious, ignited their fan base and the music industry. In the Summer of 2016 Midnight Mob exploded all over the US playing some of the biggest stages at some of the most high profile festivals such as Summerfest (WI), Sturgis Buffalo Chip (SD), Rock N Derby (NY), Fashion Meets Music Festival (OH) and Great South Bay Music Festival (NY).  During this festival run Midnight Mob opened for Shinedown, 3 Doors Down, Kid Rock, Skillet, Sevendust, Coheed & Cambria, Ghost, Trivium, Third Eye Blind and Passion Pit.

Midnight Mob has been on an indefinite hiatus since May 2017 due to health issues.  Could 2020 be the year the mob hits the stage once again?!
